Creative Partnerships
Chris King (Professional Development Award ‘Arts Education In Practice’) is happy to discuss longer term school-based projects, designed to help deliver a curriculum subject. Example: Obsdale Primary School, Alness did a World War II project using puppets over 6 weeks. The children portrayed their learning through a performance using puppets, script and props they had created. The children’s sense of achievement was highly evident. Each participant also received a certificate.
Please contact Chris King 07522 576 023 or E-mail to arrange an initial meeting and choose a curriculum subject to combine with puppetry over agreed timescale.
Enhanced disclosures are not usually required by visiting artists (because there is usually a teacher/staff present). However, Zenwing Puppets facilitators have regular enhanced disclosure checks from a variety of organisations that can be shown to schools upon request.
